Large Liens

Liens can be a headache for homeowners because they can be very expensive to pay off. Examples of these large liens can be property tax liens, which is when property taxes are not paid and they keep getting accumulated. Mortgage liens are when a homeowner does not pay for their mortgage and at the time of sale, they have to pay off the big lien that they owe.

The other type of lien is a mechanic lien, this occurs when work that has been done on the property is not paid for. For example if a contractor does a project on a home and the homeowner does not pay it, then the contractor can put a lien on the home for whatever money the homeowner owes them.
